dr_mudassirDr Muhammad Muddassir Malik (HOD- ITE)

Dr. Muhammad Muddassir Malik completed his PhD in 2009 from the Institute of Computer Graphics and Algorithms, Vienna University of Technology in Scientific Visualization. The topic of his doctoral dissertation is “Feature Centric Volume Visualization”
During his doctorate he worked on computational and visualization problems of 3D datasets obtained from industrial Computed Tomography and Medical Resonance Imaging machines. The research work was carried out in close collaboration with Carl Zeiss, who used the research findings for their upcoming products.
Dr. Malik is currently working at NUST-SEECS as an Assistant Professor. He has keen interest in serious games (edutainment) and in the use of visualization as a tool for effective communication. He currently heads a game development club at SEECS and has been involved in multiple serious games / edutainment apps developed for students of primary schools.

Faculty-4Ms. Manzil-e-Maqsood

Ms. Manzil joined NUST in Jan 2014. Prior to that she was affiliated with the Oxford University’s Centre for Educational Assessment, Department of Education, University of Oxford, UK. She completed her MPhil in Education research from the University of Cambridge, UK and also holds Masters and Bachelors degrees in Software Project Management and Computer Sciences respectively from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Lahore.
Her current areas of interest are: formative e-assessment and feedback, flipped learning, universal design for learning, public awareness of science, role of technology in education innovation in primary and secondary years, addressing children’s common misconceptions in science and mathematics, ICT in teachers’ professional development, women’s emancipation through technology, and the role of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Dr. Salma Siddiqui is the founding head of the Department of Behavioral Sciences at NUST. A clinical Psychologist though by training, she aspires to configure solutions for problems faced by individuals and community through interdisciplinary approach. She is a firm believer in education as an equalizer and agent of change.

MenAvatarDr. Asad Anwar Butt

Dr. Asad Anwar Butt completed his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2013. His thesis was titled "Multi-target tracking using higher-order motion models". His research interests include computer vision, pattern recognition, digital image processing, and graph theory.
Dr. Asad joined SEECS in November, 2013 as Assistant Professor. He has served as the Knowledge Group Head for the Programming group, as well as the CS Core group.

jaudatMr. Jaudat Mamoon

Mr. Jaudat Mamoon is an Assistant Professor at NUST SEECS, and the core member of the team that launched the MS ITE program in January 2014. He possesses a diverse set of skills and interests with two master degrees in Technology Management & Entrepreneurship and Communications Engineering from EPFL Lausanne, Switzerland and TUM Munich, Germany respectively. He also has over 7 years of international professional experience including a nearly 4 year stint at Vodafone Group Services, Germany within their Consumer Marketing department.

His interests include entrepreneurship, marketing, mobile application development, and wireless communication technologies.

Aleena-hassanMs. Aleena Hassan Qurashi

Aleena has done her Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from NUST SEECS and Masters in Innovative Technologies in Education also from NUST SEECS. Her area of specialization is Interaction Design and Visualization. She has 4 publications to date. Previously She has worked in the capacity of Teacher Trainer and Program Manager at various universities of Pakistan.

Umer Nasim Rammay completed his BS Information Technology Degree in 2012 from Govt.College University Faisalabad. He has a strong interest in the 3D and as well as 2D video game development field. He has a excellent market experience of video games development. Most of his work is related to the new interactive technologies that provide rich out-of-the-box functionality to develop games and other interactive 3D content like animations, physics, lighting, 3D effects etc.

profile Ms. Erum Afzal

Ms. Erum Afzal has done Masters in Information Technology and Graduation in Computer Arts. Her area of interest is creation and manipulation of multimedia contents. She has been teaching multimedia and Computer Graphics courses at different universities as visiting faculty. She joined SEECS-NUST as Multimedia developer and her major responsibilities are to generate and manipulate graphic contents, animation, illustration, sound, text and video into consolidated multimedia applications. Multimedia applications include interactive books, games, documentaries and animation.

Durraj did her bachelor of computer arts (BCA honours) from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi and attended College of Art & Design the University of Punjab, Lahore for MFA (Graphic Design).
Durraj is a multi-disciplinary digital artist working with the companies of all sizes since 2010 including LUMS and Fatima Jinnah Women university. Along with the Graphic Design, 3D/2D graphics and videography, Durraj has been working as a freelance script writer of different plays broadcasted in public & private media channels.

saba-image Ms. Saba Khateeb

Ms.Saba Khateeb earned her Master degree in Fine Arts (M.F.A) from Fatima Jinnah Women University with specialization in Graphic Design. She has more than 4 years’ experience with various Software and Design houses. She is currently leading the team of Graphic Designers in the ‘Chotay Sciencedan’ project.
